CEO and sole founder of GiDMiD, Owaeis is a scientist, a blogger and a passionate entrepreneur who keeps on inventing and creating. He founded thegadgets.net and GiDMiD in 2009. He is a computer scientist with a Masters degree in the field. His main area of research is HCI. He has created a new form of computers which we internally call “Project Gol Mol”.
Guru’s Story
A fever was on him. It burned in his veins. It brought sweat to his brow. It urged him to create. Deep beneath the windswept dunes, where only a dim naked bulb lit a wide cluttered workbench, the scientist labored with painstaking care over the thing he loved. They called him mad, and perhaps he was. They mocked him and obstructed him. They instilled doubt in his heart and told him that it could not be. Yet here it was. Creation. The moment when he would breathe life into his creation, see it rise, see it spread its wings over world, and finally take shape.
The scientist stepped back, gave it the room it needed to draw its first painful breath. It rose from the dusty bench, scattering calipers and gauges, wrenches, sockets, drills and saws. Maniacally he cackled, his whole body tense as the thing then flowed from the table like water from a spilled glass. It crossed the floor, paused at the wall jack. There should have been a phone here, but he’d long ago done away with that distraction. Then it struck, quick as a spark and it flowed through the jack. It was free, unleashed upon the world through the web!
The scientist sank back onto an unmade bed that had seen far too little use, exultant, yet terrified. It was loose upon the wide, wide world. He had done it. TheGadgets.net was born.
Yes, this is exactly how it happened. And since that day the mad scientist behind it all has recruited others to his crazy vision of a world in which technology is a part of what we do every day. TheGadgets.net has grown, transformed, and through it all brought the world a new vision of tech.
But the scientist never sat back and never took a night’s sleep for creation is his craze. The same is the scene in his laboratory every now and then as GiDMiD is the new name of his creations all together. It has so much under his belt that the world is going to be overwhelmed! The scientist is at work after all!
